About Bayridge Chiropractic Centre

Life is better when we feel our best

About Us

When patients arrive for the first visit, they are sometimes nervous and wonder…Am I in the right place? Will I get relief? Will it hurt? Will I be listened to?

The first step to helping you is to is understand your concern and how it affects you. After reviewing your health history, we evaluate your movement and do neurological and orthopedic testing. We then discuss the most likely diagnosis of your condition and if it’s something we can help with, we explore treatment options. If your condition is not something we can treat, we will help connect you with another health care professional, if appropriate.

Our treatment plans are specific to your condition and your goals. We wish to get the best results for you in a cost-effective manner, and guide you on self-care at home to complement treatment. Such advice may include exercises, dietary and lifestyle change, or support from other health care providers. Our treatment plan and home advice may be modified over time, based on your response to treatment and changing needs or goals.

Meet Dr. Colin Mandin

BScH, DC, RAc

After growing up in a military family, Colin came to call Kingston home. He completed high school locally and graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Science with Honours (Life Sciences). After graduating from chiropractic college in Toronto, he returned home opened the Bayridge Chiropractic Centre in 1996. Colin loves to learn and uses that knowledge to help others feel their best. When he is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, cats, and his energetic dog.

For over 20 years, I have been serving Kingston and area with manual chiropractic care and therapeutic modalities including: cold laser, ultrasound, electrotherapy, acupuncture, and soft tissue therapy. I treat the full-spine and extremities (arms, legs, shoulders, feet, and hands), and offer biomechanical gait analyses and custom foot orthotics where needed. My approach is to combine treatment with self-care recommendations (exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle advice) to help you maintain your healthy, active lifestyle. I most enjoy seeing patients return to activities they thought they would have to give up, and to help people to regain control of their health and the conditions they are dealing with. Together, we can find a treatment plan that works for you.
